One of the largest developers in the UAE, partnered with one of the world’s best-known brands, was committed to reinventing the theme park industry with the record-breaking Ferrari World Abu Dhabi. And if building a park of this scale was not challenge enough, the developer knew it would need a reliable partner to deliver a world-class operation that matched the quality and ingenuity of its site.
MR ProFun was engaged by the developer for more than four years to support its pre-opening preparations, culminating in our establishment of a joint-venture operating company to manage the park once it opened. Our management role covered virtually all aspects of mission-critical operations, including the park’s General Manager and key executive roles in both front-of-house and back-of-house functions.
Ferrari World Abu Dhabi opened to the world with great fanfare in November 2010—and a staff that was recruited and trained by MR ProFun was there to greet it. We are proud of our role in ensuring a successful opening and managing a wide variety of post-opening operations improvement initiatives. And we are especially proud of the consistently high marks that guests give to the Ferrari World staff.
